Public transport is the heart of any modern city. Every day it provides thousands of people with the opportunity to quickly and conveniently reach work, school, or favorite places. Behind every journey by bus, tram, trolley, or metro, there are dedicated professionals – drivers, engineers, mechanics, dispatchers, and administrative staff who ensure the safety and comfort of passengers.

The Federation of Transport and Trade Unions (FTTU) is here to protect the rights and interests of these people who move the city forward.

How the Federation protects workers' rights

FTTU defends the right to decent working conditions and equality for all. Here is how we support people working in public transport:

✅ Protection of labor rights – legal support, drafting and signing of collective labor agreements, conducting negotiations and social dialogue with employers, municipalities, and institutions.

✅ Improvement of working conditions – through conducting collective labor negotiations, negotiating better working conditions, monitoring compliance with labor legislation, participating in working groups and advisory councils, and actively notifying institutions in case of violations or risks to workers' health and safety.

✅ Financial support – we provide assistance in emergencies, accidents, and serious illnesses. We offer access to mutual aid funds – VSK and NVSK.

✅ Informing and consulting – we provide current and reliable information regarding changes in legislation, workers' rights and obligations, as well as opportunities for professional development and training.

✅ Collective representation – your voice in negotiations with employers and institutions.
