Today, a ceremony was held in the CITUB building for the presentation of the annual awards in the name of Prof. Dr. Krastyo Petkov — "For overall contribution to the development of the trade union movement in Bulgaria".

Federation of Transport Trade Unions nominated two worthy representatives, to whom the president of CITUB, Plamen Dimitrov, personally presented the awards:

Emiliya Ivanova — Chairperson of the "Electrotransport" Trade Union at "Stolichen Electrotransport" EAD. Mariya Georgieva — Chairperson of the SO AP Malashevtsi at "Stolichen Avtotransport" EAD.

"I am very excited! We are a new federation of only a year and a half, and I have been a trade unionist for 40 years. Here they noticed my qualities and I want to thank the chairman of the FTTU, Mr. Shopov, and Plamen Dimitrov, for having the strength of CITUB behind our backs!" — shared Emiliya Ivanova.

"I thank the FTTU that, after 41 years of working as a trade unionist, they noticed our efforts. I am excited because, for the first time, our work and everything we do is truly appreciated." — stated Mariya Georgieva.

Federation of Transport Trade Unions expresses its deep gratitude to everyone who supports the development of the trade union movement and works for a better future for working people in Bulgaria.

"An award – even if belated – is fully deserved for two ladies who are the pillar of the trade union movement in public transport!" – stated the chairman of the FTTU, Eng. Aleksandar Shopov.
