Today, the Sofia Municipal Council (SMC) adopted the capital's budget!

Within the approved economic framework, an increase in basic salaries by BGN 300 was voted for all employees in the four public transport companies of Sofia, starting from April 1, 2025.

The collective trade union actions of our members were at the core of this hard-earned increase in remuneration in the sector.

It took six days of blockades to make the workers' voices heard and their demands recognized by politicians.

However, the difficult task remains to fight the inaction of many regarding the improvement of working conditions.

Federation of Transport Trade Unions will continue this battle. With our combined efforts, success is inevitable.
