Eng. Aleksandar Shopov, Chairman of FTTU, was a guest today on the morning show of Bulgaria On Air. On air he commented on the protest action of CITUB from 24.11.2025, as well as the working conditions of employees in public transport in Sofia, Varna and Ruse.
Shopov emphasized that the trade unions have long proposed a meeting between the Minister of Finance, the mayors of the affected municipalities and representatives of the workers in order to find a sustainable solution to the shortage of funds in public transport.
However, such a meeting has not yet taken place, and the problems remain unresolved.
