Negotiations on the new Collective Labor Agreement at SOF Connect continue

Today, another round of negotiations was held between the trade union organizations and the employer on the draft of a new Collective Labor Agreement. The talks continue to be difficult, with discussions focused on the controversial texts and proposals that affect the rights and interests of the workers.
The Chairman of the FTTU emphasized that before a final decision is made on key issues, the union will consult its members, because it is their opinion and position that are leading in the negotiation process.
the FTTU continues to consistently defend the position that the good economic and financial indicators of "SOF Connect" should be reflected in higher values of increase in basic wages. We are convinced that the company's success is a result of the work and professionalism of the employees, and they deserve a fair share of the results achieved.
Regarding the accumulated paid annual leave, the FTTU categorically stated that the legislation provides sufficient mechanisms to prevent a critical accumulation of leave. For this reason, reducing leave is not an acceptable solution, especially since this is an extremely sensitive topic for the workers.
The next meeting is scheduled for June 29. We hope the employer will support our demands, taking into account both the good results of the company and the fact that the purpose of a Collective Labor Agreement is to build upon the statutory provisions and ensure better conditions for the workers.
