On December 23, 2024, during the negotiations for the conclusion of a Collective Labour Agreement (CLA) in "Stolichen Avtotransport" EAD, the general provisions of the contract were agreed upon, including the specification of the parties to it.

On the part of the employer, this is the management of the company, and on the part of the trade unions - the Federation of Transport Trade Unions (FTTU) to CITUB and the Trade Union Section to the Federation of Transport Workers (FTW) - "Podkrepa". Agreements were also reached regarding the subsequent date for holding the negotiations.

The talks on the disputed texts in the CLA regarding payments and working conditions will continue on January 8, 2025, at 10 AM in the Sofia Municipality building.

FTTU and CITUB categorically state that they will not allow interference by individual people and organizations, outside the parties to the Collective Labour Agreement, who could compromise the negotiation procedure. The trade union will strictly follow the law and administrative procedures guaranteeing effective and transparent negotiation.

Any attempt at external interference in the talks between the parties to the CLA represents a gross violation of the Labour Code and international legal acts.

FTTU and CITUB warn that such actions could lead to an escalation of social tension in "Stolichen Avtotransport" EAD. The Federation and the Confederation remain firmly resolved to defend the rights and interests of the employees in the company.
