The negotiations for a new Collective Labor Agreement at "Sofia Public Transport" will continue on January 8, 2025.
Jan 3, 2025

On December 23, 2024, during the negotiations for signing a Collective Labor Agreement (CLA) at "Sofia Public Transport" EAD, the general terms of the agreement were negotiated, including clarification of the parties involved.
On the employer's side, this is the management of the company, and on the side of the unions – the Federation of Transport Trade Unions (FTTU) to CITUB and the Trade Union Section to the Federation of Transport Workers (FTR) – "Support." Agreements were also reached regarding the subsequent date for the negotiations.
Discussions on the contentious texts in the CLA, concerning payments and working conditions, will continue on January 8, 2025, from 10 AM in the building of the Sofia Municipality.
FTTU and CITUB categorically state that they will not allow interference by individuals and organizations outside the parties to the Collective Labor Agreement, who could compromise the negotiation process. The union will strictly follow the law and administrative procedures, ensuring effective and transparent negotiation.
Any attempt at external interference in the discussions between the parties to the CLA represents a gross violation of the Labor Code and international legal acts.
FTTU and CITUB warn that such actions could lead to an escalation of social tension at "Sofia Public Transport" EAD. The Federation and Confederation remain firmly committed to defending the rights and interests of the employees of the company.
