A protest of the public transport in Sofia is forthcoming.

The Federation of Transport and Trade Unions reminds that on May 14 (Wednesday), there will be no ground transport, including buses, trolleys, and trams.

If the workers' demands are not met, effective strike actions will be taken, halting all urban transport - both ground and metro.

We are making yet another appeal for a meeting with the responsible institutions, in the person of the Minister of Finance and the Mayor of Sofia, to find a peaceful solution.

FTTU also expects a decision on the salaries of the urban transport workers in Varna, Ruse, and the State Auto-Transport Administration (IAAA).
