Consecutive meetings with public transport workers in Sofia

Today concluded the final meetings that the chairman of FTTU - Eng. Aleksandar Shopov held with the employees of "Stolichan Avtotransport" EAD, "Stolichan Elektrotransport" EAD, and "Metropoliten" EAD.
The employees in the Sofia public transport expressed their strong dissatisfaction with the proposed salary increase, which they consider insufficient and unfair. They insist on a permanent increase in basic salaries rather than through an increase in the bonus.
If the necessary funds are not provided by the state and the municipality, they are ready to take protest and strike actions to achieve a decent increase.
Readiness to join protest actions is also present in Varna and Ruse, where there are also no state funds allocated for salary increases.
A meeting with Sofia Municipality is expected, where the results of the meetings held with the employees in public transport will be discussed.
