Happy May 6th - Day of Valor and the Bulgarian Army!

Today Bulgaria celebrates the Day of Valor and the holiday of the Bulgarian Army. This is one of the oldest and most significant dates in our national calendar. The holiday was established in 1880 by a decree of Prince Alexander I and is associated with St. George the Victorious – patron saint of the army and a symbol of courage, valor, and faith.

Federation of Transport Trade Unions pays due recognition and respect to the Bulgarian warriors who defended with their honor and lives the freedom of Bulgaria and its right to be an independent state.

FTTU congratulates everyone who bears the name of Saint George and celebrates their name day today, wishing them health and luck, personal and professional success! Wear your names with pride and dignity.
