We celebrate 188 years since the birth of Vasil Levski

Today we bow our heads in honor of the life and work of the brightest hero in Bulgarian history — Vasil Levski. Born 188 years ago, the Apostle of Freedom remains an eternal symbol of the struggle for justice, freedom, and dignity.

His words and covenants resonate today, reminding us of the power of unity and honesty in the name of the homeland. "Deeds are needed, not words" - these words oblige every generation to build a worthy future.
