On May 1, CITUB presented the first trade union AI assistant in Europe – also available to FTTU members

The Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria (CITUB) officially presented the first trade-union artificial intelligence in Europe – an AI assistant, created specifically to support trade-union members and their daily work.

The new digital tool brings together in one system expert assistance on labor rights, income, collective bargaining, safe working conditions and trade-union organization. The AI assistant is developed to provide quick, practical and accessible guidance on real cases and questions from trade-union practice – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Among the main capabilities of the CITUB AI are:

• consultations on labor rights and wages;

• information on safe working conditions;

• preparation of positions, arguments and working texts;

• assistance in collective bargaining;

• drafting forms, opinions and trade-union documents;

• guidance to expert trade-union support.

The system combines the expertise of a lawyer, economist, occupational health and safety specialist, collective bargaining expert and organizational secretary in one common AI tool. This allows trade-union members to receive not just information, but practical guidance and concrete solutions in support of their daily work and protection of labor rights.

The AI assistant is available both on a computer and on mobile devices, which ensures quick and convenient access at any time and from any place.

Federation of Transport and Trade Unions at the CITUB (FTTU) will also provide its members with the opportunity to use the new AI assistant. A special button with direct access to the platform will be added to the FTTU website, through which trade-union members will be able to easily and conveniently use all the system's functionalities.

For workers in the transport sector, this will be another useful tool in everyday trade-union activity – in preparing documents, opinions and positions, in questions related to working time, wages, working conditions and collective bargaining, as well as in communication with employers and institutions.

Through the AI assistant, FTTU members will have the opportunity to receive more quickly guidance and information related to the protection of their rights and interests, as part of the large CITUB family.
