The Chairman of FTTU Eng. Aleksandar Shopov was a guest on Simeon Yanev's podcast on News.bg.

In a frank conversation, Shopov commented on the protest activities in public transport in Sofia from May and warned:

"I believe that even before 2026 we may witness new protest actions by public transport employees."

Regarding the idea of merging the municipal transport companies, he was categorical: "Absolute nonsense."

Shopov also spoke about the future of the sector and emphasized the need to make transport professions more attractive to young people.
