During the period of June 10–14, the Third National Spartakiad of FTTU was held in the Albena resort. More than 200 athletes from seven teams gathered for a group photo, capturing the start of an unforgettable sports event filled with sporting spirit, fair play, and the drive for victory.

The National Spartakiad proved once again that sport is not only a means of maintaining good health and an active lifestyle, but also an important factor in building a collective spirit, mutual respect, and solidarity among workers from different enterprises and settlements in the country.

The participants competed in football, table tennis, badminton, padel, basketball, darts, swimming, cross-country running, beach volleyball, and tug-of-war. All competitions featured closely contested matches and a sporting attitude among the participants.

The Third National Spartakiad of FTTU was closed with many positive emotions and a solemn ceremony. The Chairman of FTTU, Eng. Aleksandar Shopov, congratulated all participants on their worthy performance, sporting behavior, and active participation in the competition. He emphasized the importance of such initiatives for strengthening collegial relations and promoting physical activity. In his address, he thanked the organizers, referees, and everyone who, with their hard work and dedication, contributed to the successful execution of the event.

The best teams in the overall standings were awarded for their impressive achievements:

1st place – Port of Varna – West

2nd place – Port of Varna – East

3rd place – Burgasbus

The Fair Play Cup was deservedly awarded to the "Burgasbus" team for their shown fairness, respect for opponents and referees, as well as for the demonstrated sporting spirit during all competitions.

The good mood during the official ceremony was ensured by Maria Topchieva (Port of Varna – East) and Radostin Todorov (Burgasbus), who once again made the evening even more memorable with professionalism, smiles, and a sense of humor.

The Third National Spartakiad of FTTU showed once again that sport unites people regardless of their profession, age, and place of work. In addition to its competitive nature, the event created opportunities for new friendships, exchange of experience, and strengthening relations between trade union organizations within the transport system.

FTTU will continue to promote such initiatives that combine an active lifestyle, team spirit, and trade union solidarity. We look forward to seeing all participants on the sports fields again – with even more motivation, energy, enthusiasm, and desire for new successes.
