Today, the first meeting of negotiations for the conclusion of a new Collective Labor Agreement (CLA) in "Urban Transport" EAD – Varna was held.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Federation of Transport Trade Unions (FTTU) to CITUB, Eng. Aleksandar Shopov, and the Chairman of the trade union organization in the company, Pavlina Nikolova. During the talks, the importance of social dialogue was emphasized, along with the need to achieve balanced decisions that guarantee stability and better working conditions for the employees.

The main demands of the FTTU were presented and discussed in detail, with an emphasis placed on:

• increase in basic salaries

• increase in food allowances

• introduction of an "attendance bonus" as an incentive for regularity and commitment

• increase in night work rates

• increase in overtime pay

• expanding social support for workers and their families

• updating additional payments and social benefits

During the meeting, views and proposals were exchanged, and both sides declared their readiness for constructive dialogue and searching for sustainable solutions in the interest of the workers. The importance of upgrading the active collective labor agreement was also emphasized, taking into account contemporary economic conditions and the needs of the employees.

The negotiation process will continue, with the next meeting scheduled for 02.04.2026. Within the framework of the next talks, the parameters of the individual proposals are expected to be specified and mutually acceptable solutions to be sought.
