FTTU joined a protest action by CITUB for wage increases with Budget 2025

Federation of Transport Trade Unions participated in a protest action of CITUB for a visible increase in wages with Budget 2025. Colleagues from "Metropoliten" EAD, "Stolichen Avtotransport" EAD and "Stolichen Elektrotransport" EAD joined in.
The demands of the FTTU for the sector are:
Sofia Urban Transport – BGN 29.0 million for an increase in the subsidy, through which to achieve the promised wage growth of 15%; Urban Transport in the city of Varna – BGN 6.5 million for an increase in the subsidy through which to achieve a wage growth of 15%; Urban Transport in the city of Ruse – BGN 0.7 million for an increase in the subsidy through which to achieve a wage growth of 15%; Executive Agency "Automobile Administration" - BGN 4.5 million, through which to ensure a wage increase of 20%.
The President of the FTTU, Eng. Aleksandar Shopov stated: "The state is offering us yet another lean pizza and is asking us to tighten our belts once again. Until when? We expect sanity from the MPs and sufficient funds in Budget 2025 for an adequate increase in wages".
Colleagues from Urban Transport - Varna, Municipal Transport - Ruse, EA "Automobile Administration", and "Metropoliten" EAD took part in the protest action from their workplaces.
