FTTU participated in a protest action by CITUB for a salary increase with Budget 2025

Federation of Transport and Trade Unions participated in a protest action of CITUB for a visible increase in salaries with Budget 2025. Colleagues from "Metropolitan" EAD, "Sofia Public Transport" EAD, and "Sofia Electric Transport" EAD joined.

The demands of FTTU for the sector are:

Sofia Urban Transport – 29.0 million BGN for an increase in the subsidy to achieve the promised 15% salary increase; Urban Transport in Varna – 6.5 million BGN for an increase in the subsidy to achieve a 15% salary increase; Urban Transport in Ruse – 0.7 million BGN for an increase in the subsidy to achieve a 15% salary increase; Executive Agency Automobile Administration - 4.5 million BGN, to provide a 20% salary increase.

The Chairman of FTTU, Eng. Alexandar Shopov stated: "The state offers us yet another lean pizza and once again asks us to tighten our belts. Until when? We expect reason from the MPs and sufficient funds in Budget 2025 for an adequate salary increase".

In the protest action, colleagues from Urban Transport - Varna, Municipal Transport - Ruse, EA "Automobile Administration", "Metropolitan" EAD participated from their workplaces.
