At 4:20 in the morning, FTTU blocked the exit of the Zemlyane garage, which suspended the operation of 26 bus lines.

After negotiations with the police and appeals to the employer to sign the Collective Labour Agreement (CLA), to which he did not respond, an invitation came from the Mayor of Sofia - Vasil Terziev.

As a sign of goodwill and solidarity with the citizens of Sofia, the protesters released the blocked buses.

After more than 2 hours of negotiations in the Sofia Municipality, also attended by the Executive Director of "Stolichen Avtotransport" EAD - Stilyan Manolov, justice prevailed as negotiations for the conclusion of a new CLA in the company will start in earnest on December 23 (Monday) at 10:00 AM. Sofia Municipality will host the negotiations as a guarantor for the compliance with laws and regulations in the negotiation process.

"Today, the workers and employees of "Stolichen Avtotransport" EAD should be proud that they stood by their legal position on the right to collective bargaining and did not allow anyone to replace their will," stated the Chairman of FTTU, Eng. Aleksandar Shopov.
