Nov 6, 2025

A meeting was held today between the management of "Fraport Twin Star Airport Management" JSC and FTTU – CITUB.
The meeting was attended by the chairman of FTTU – Eng. Alexander Shopov, as well as the chairpersons of the trade union organizations in Varna and Burgas – Petranka Shomova and Todor Todorov.
Eng. Alexander Shopov presented the position of FTTU – CITUB, supported by data prepared based on the figures provided by "Fraport".
They clearly show that there is indeed both a need and an opportunity for an increase in wages. He emphasized that such a step would not only be socially justified but also economically justified, as it will contribute to retaining qualified personnel.
After the meeting with the management, the chairman of FTTU held a subsequent meeting with the employees at FTTUEM, where he presented the main results and discussed the next steps.
It is expected that by the end of next week the employer will send a letter with its specific proposals, and the next meeting between the parties will be held on November 20, 2025.
