Today a meeting was held between the management of "Fraport Twin Star Airport Management" AD and FTTU – CITUB.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman of FTTU – Eng. Aleksandar Shopov, as well as the chairs of the trade union organizations in Varna and Burgas – Petranka Shomova and Todor Todorov.

Eng. Aleksandar Shopov presented the position of FTTU – CITUB, supported by data prepared on the basis of the figures presented by "Fraport".

They clearly show that there is indeed both a necessity and an opportunity for a wage increase. He stressed that such a step would be not only socially justified but also economically viable, as it would contribute to the retention of qualified personnel.

Following the meeting with the management, the Chairman of FTTU held a follow-up meeting with the employees of FTSEM, where he presented the main results and discussed the next steps.

The employer is expected to send a letter with its specific proposals by the end of next week, and the next meeting between the parties will take place on November 20, 2025.
