FTTU held a seminar for workers in the transport sector

Today, a seminar organized by FTTU was held on the topic "Legal Framework in Bulgarian Legislation, Social Protection, and Pension Insurance for Workers in the Transport Sector." More than 50 union members of FTTU from "Metropolitan" JSC, "Sofia Electric Transport" JSC, "Sofia Auto Transport" JSC, SOF Connect, Dr. Zase Facility Management Ltd. participated.

The chairman of FTTU Eng. Alexander Shopov opened the seminar with the words: "The topics we will discuss today are not only relevant but also key to our future – especially regarding the pension system and the legal framework in which we work. I urge each of you to participate actively – ask questions, share experiences, discuss. Let's turn this seminar into a dialogue that will help us better navigate the challenges we face and find solutions that will improve our daily lives."

In the official part, the President of CITUB Plamen Dimitrov participated. The President of CITUB greeted the participants and commented as follows: "Knowledge is our preparation for basic knowledge of labor rights, insurance relations, the way of payment, principles of employee hiring, how they reach the workplace - what they need to know, what we need to know to protect and safeguard them from the entrance of the enterprise. Knowledge makes us strong to protect the people who have trusted the union."

Lecturers at the seminar were Nikolay Stoyanov – legal expert of FTTU and Asya Goneva – Consultant at CITUB.

The panels examined the legal framework and protection of labor rights, as well as social protection and pension insurance. The participants held a lively discussion in which they examined key issues from the seminar program, expressed different opinions, and shared practical examples, which significantly contributed to its depth.
