During the meeting, eng. Shopov presented the main areas of activity of FTTU, as well as the opportunities that the “Working Conditions” Fund provides for applying for and financing projects aimed at improving the working environment.
Emphasis was also placed on the joint analysis being developed by the Federation in partnership with the “Working Conditions” Fund, related to morbidity and working conditions. The importance of prevention, a safe working environment, and sustainable measures to protect workers' health was emphasized.
During the discussion, eng. Shopov extended an official invitation to the employer to take part in the traditional FTTU Spartakiad – an initiative that annually brings together workers from the sector and promotes collegiality, team spirit, and good partnership.
Also discussed were the implementation of the Collective Labor Agreement transferred from „SOF Connect“, as well as the possibilities for starting negotiations to sign a new CBA at the enterprise.
Both sides emphasized the importance of constructive social dialogue and good partnership as a basis for stable labor relations, sustainable development, and better working conditions for workers.
