FTTU organized a protest action of the urban transport workers in front of the Sofia Municipality

Following a protest action by employees in public transport in front of the building of the Sofia Municipality, the Sofia City Council adopted the financial framework of Sofia's budget for 2025, which also includes the increase in their wages retroactively from April 1 by 300 BGN.

FTTU reminds that the funds for the increase were provided by the state and were blocked until now due to the lack of a Budget for Sofia.

Symbolically, the protesters handed over piggy banks with yellow coins and protest declarations to the municipal councilors.

Victory for all transport workers! "You showed the politicians that the power is in your hands!", with these words the chairman of FTTU Alexander Shopov announced the end of the protest in front of the municipality.
