On 25.03.2025 in the city of Varna, the chairman of the FTTU – Eng. Aleksandar Shopov and the vice-president of CITUB – Todor Kapitanov, held a working meeting with the head of the regional department of the Executive Agency "Automobile Administration" (EAAA) – Eng. Tihomir Gaberski, the chairperson of the trade union organization – Viktoria Krasteva, as well as with members of the FTTU.

The main topics of the meeting were the working conditions in the agency and the upcoming negotiations for a new Collective Labor Agreement (CLA), discussing the need for better social and economic guarantees for the employees.

Eng. Aleksandar Shopov presented the activities of the "Working Conditions" Fund to Mr. Gaberski and highlighted the opportunities for improving the working environment by funding various initiatives and projects.

A major focus of the meeting was also the need for an increase in remuneration at the agency. In the state budget, CITUB and FTTU requested an additional 4.5 million BGN to be allocated – an amount that would allow for an increase in the remuneration of those employed in the EAAA.

The chairperson of the trade union organization, Viktoria Krasteva, discussed with Todor Kapitanov and Eng. Aleksandar Shopov the possibility of organizing protest actions in support of the right to decent remuneration of employees in the EAAA, in connection with the lack of additional state funds for salary increases.
