FTTU signed a new CBA at Sofia Airport

Today, May 21, 2025, a new Collective Labor Agreement (CLA) was signed at Sofia Airport, which will be effective from 01.04.2025 and has a duration of 1 year.
The unions and the employer agreed to prioritize the increase in remuneration for operational positions, taking into account the weight and contribution of each one.
Present at the meeting were the CEO of Sofia Airport - Jesús Caballero, his team, the Chairman of FTTU - Eng. Aleksandar Shopov, and the chairman of СО - Nikolay Lazov.
The following agreements were reached in the new CLA:
The size of paid annual leave is changing as follows:
- with work experience up to 5 years - twenty (20) working days;
- work experience from 5 to 10 years - twenty-two (22) working days.
Additional leave for work under specific working conditions is 9 days, and for work with irregular working hours is 6 days.
The average increase in the basic salary for employees in 2025 is 11.7%.
The minimum increase of the basic monthly wages in the company is 5% for all employees, covering almost 18% of the workers in the company.
The minimum monthly wage for 2025 and 2026 - equal to the minimum wage multiplied by a coefficient of 1.3 remains in effect.
The size of the food vouchers remains at 200 BGN monthly.
For every worked night hour, the additional labor remuneration increases from 1.50 BGN to 1.70 BGN.
The one-time cash amount for the birth of a child increases by 100 BGN and will be 900 BGN.
The one-time cash amount in case of death increases by 100 BGN and becomes 1600 BGN.
In particularly severe cases of illness of employees and their children up to 18 years of age, assistance for treatment is provided when it amounts to more than 10000 BGN, with an amount of 10000 BGN awarded.
All other agreements remain the same.
