FTTU sent a letter to employers in the transport sector to take measures due to the high temperatures.

In it, the federation points out that professions in the "Transport" Sector – including vehicle drivers, technical staff and platform workers, dockers, etc. – are often carried out under unfavorable weather conditions, outdoors or in spaces where ventilation and cooling are difficult. Exposure to high temperatures during prolonged driving or working in garages/ depots and loading/unloading areas poses serious risks of heat stroke, dehydration, and accidents.

FTTU proposes measures and recommendations to employers to alleviate working conditions during extremely high temperatures, remaining available for joint discussion of possible actions.
