FTTU sent a letter to transport employers regarding measures against high temperatures.
Jul 2, 2025

FTTU sent a letter to employers in the transport sector to take measures due to the high temperatures.
In it, the federation points out that professions in the "Transport" sector – including vehicle drivers, technical staff, platform workers, dockers, and others – are often performed under unfavorable climatic conditions, outdoors or in spaces where ventilation and cooling are difficult. Exposure to high temperatures during prolonged driving or working in garages/depot and loading-unloading areas poses serious risks of heatstroke, dehydration, and accidents.
FTTU at the CITUB offers measures and recommendations to employers to alleviate working conditions in extremely high temperatures, remaining available for joint discussion of possible actions.
