FTTU and the management of SOF Connect held a second meeting regarding the new CLA

Today, a second meeting was held at SOF Connect EAD regarding the launch of negotiations for concluding a new Collective Labor Agreement (CLA) in the company.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman of FTTU Eng. Alexander Shopov, the Chairman of the Trade Union Organization Nikolay Lazov, as well as representatives of the employer – Mrs. Anelia Dimova and Mr. Deha Akmazlale – Chief Financial Officer of the company.

On the part of the employer, an analysis of the average gross salary for the period 2022 – March 2026 was presented, along with the dynamics of wage growth, the summary financial results of the company, and information regarding the number and structure of the personnel.

During the meeting, the parties declared readiness for a constructive, open, and socially responsible dialogue. The framework, organization, and schedule of the upcoming negotiations were discussed, as well as the main priorities of each of the parties.

At the next meeting, the specific texts of the draft CLA will be reviewed, with the discussion beginning with the sections related to salaries, leaves, and indemnities. It was agreed that the talks would continue in a series of working meetings aimed at achieving balanced and sustainable solutions in the interest of both the workers and employees, and the company.

The Chairman of FTTU Eng. Alexander Shopov emphasized that for the Federation, the growth of basic salaries is of utmost importance, as it has the most direct impact on people – both for preserving their purchasing power and in terms of future pensions, health and social insurance, and the overall social security of workers. He also highlighted the need to upgrade additional social benefits, which are also an important element of employee motivation, stability, and care.

The next meeting is scheduled for June 2, 2026.
