FTTU and Sofia Airport participated in a conference on "Bullying and Violence in the Workplace!"

On the eve of International Women's Day, two significant conferences were held at the CITUB building on the topics: "Harassment and Violence in the Workplace: Let's Break the Silence!" — organized by CITUB and Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Bulgaria, and "Empowered Childhood: A Discussion on Violence Among Children" — organized by CITUB, BF “Prof. Dr. Zhelyazko Hristov” and the Lachezar Tsotsorkov Foundation.

The conference "Harassment and Violence in the Workplace: Let's Break the Silence!" focused on ways to prevent and address issues related to harassment and violence in the workplace, as well as the need to create a safe and supportive work environment.

At the event, the Chairman of the Federation of Transport and Trade Unions (FTTU) — Eng. Alexander Shopov, was present.

At the invitation of FTTU, in the panel "Good Practices for Addressing Harassment and Violence in the Workplace," Anelia Dimova — Human Resources Director at SOF Connect took part. Mrs. Dimova shared the company's experience in implementing anti-harassment policies as well as specific measures to create a healthy work environment.

The events were attended by union members of FTTU from "Sofia Electric Transport" EAD and "Metropolitan" EAD. Their interest in the topics highlighted the importance of collective efforts to create a safe and supportive environment for both workers and children.
