FTTU and CITUB signed a 3-year agreement with the mayor of Ruse

Today, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Mayor of Ruse - Pencho Milkov, the President of CITUB - Plamen Dimitrov, and the Chairman of FTTU - Eng. Aleksandar Shopov. The meeting was also attended by the regional coordinator of CITUB for the city of Ruse - Boyanka Dimitrova.
The agreement is for a period of 3 years, with key highlights including:
Salary increase in "Municipal Transport" - Ruse by:
-10% (ten percent), retroactively effective from 10.07.2025;
-10% (ten percent), effective from 01.07.2026;
-10% (ten percent), effective from 01.07.2027.
Assistance from the Municipality of Ruse for attracting, hiring, and retaining the necessary number of staff in the public transport system.
Providing legal support for the workers and employees of "Municipal Transport Ruse" EAD in case of incidents during work.
Ensuring the use of entitled annual leave, weekly, and daily rest periods.
Ensuring trouble-free work for drivers and providing a protection system against assault – video surveillance and driving recorders.
The Municipality of Ruse commits to regularly holding a Council for Social Cooperation in Transport - CSCT, at least four times a year, inviting the parties to the agreement for this purpose.
The agreement consists of a total of 23 points fully aimed at improving the working conditions of transport workers and optimizing public transport in Ruse.
FTTU expresses its gratitude to Mayor Pencho Milkov for his responsibility and commitment to the issues of those working in the public transport of Ruse and the good social dialogue.
