FTTU and CITUB signed a 3-year agreement with the mayor of the city of Ruse

Today, an agreement for cooperation was signed between the mayor of Ruse - Pencho Milkov, the president of CITUB - Plamen Dimitrov, and the chairman of FTTU - Eng. Alexander Shopov. The regional coordinator of CITUB for Ruse - Boyanka Dimitrova also attended the meeting.

The agreement has a term of 3 years, with its highlights being:

• Salary increase in "Municipal Transport" - Ruse by:

  -10% (ten percent), retroactively effective from 10.07.2025;

  -10% (ten percent), effective from 01.07.2026;

  -10% (ten percent), effective from 01.07.2027.

• Assistance from the municipality of Ruse to attract, appoint, and retain the required number of personnel in the urban transport system.

• Provision of legal support for the workers and employees of "Municipal Transport Ruse" PLC in case of incidents during work.

• Ensuring the use of due annual leaves, weekly and daily breaks.

• Ensuring trouble-free work for drivers and providing a protection system against assault – video surveillance and video recorders.

• The municipality of Ruse commits to regularly hold the Council for Social Cooperation in Transport – SSCT, at least four times a year, inviting the parties to the agreement.

The agreement consists of a total of 23 points entirely aimed at improving the working conditions of transport workers and optimizing urban transport in Ruse.
