Today we mark 152 years since the death of the Apostle of Freedom – Vasil Levski. On February 18, 1873, Bulgaria lost one of its brightest sons, but his work and legacies remain alive in the hearts of generations of Bulgarians.

Levski was not just a revolutionary, but a visionary dreaming of a “pure and sacred republic” where all people are equal before the law. With his selflessness, determination, and belief in the people's power, he inspired the national liberation struggle and forever became a symbol of sacrifice and patriotism.

Federation of Transport and Trade Unions expresses its deep reverence for the memory of Vasil Levski! Let us not forget his lessons and let our deeds prove that we are worthy heirs of his ideal.
