Day 3, in which the blockades of public transport in Sofia continue.

After yesterday's more than 4 hours of negotiations with the Mayor of Sofia and his team, no agreement was reached on the proposals made by him:

- BGN 180 in the basic salary for all workers from the 4 companies.

or

- BGN 100 each + 100% increase in the mileage bonus, but only for Electro and Auto transport.

After the end of the meeting in Sofia Municipality, the Chairman of FTTU, Eng. Aleksandar Shopov, visited all garages and depots to speak personally with the employees in the system.

The workers are adamant that they do not agree with the proposals of the mayor, which led to the start of collecting signatures for effective indefinite strike actions. The strike demands include: increase in basic wages: BGN 400 (four hundred levs) as of March 1, 2025; BGN 500 (five hundred levs) as of March 1, 2026; BGN 600 (six hundred levs) as of March 1, 2027, increase in overhead costs; improvement of working conditions.

In the event of an effective strike, the operation of "Metropolitan" will also be suspended.

The employees insist on concrete commitments from the municipality and fulfillment of their demands.
