Celebrating 117 years of independent Bulgaria!

On September 22, 1908, in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria declared its Independence – one of the greatest achievements in our history.

In the "Holy Forty Martyrs" church, Prince Ferdinand proclaimed Bulgaria a sovereign and equal state, and our people took their worthy place among the free nations of Europe.

Today, 117 years later, this day reminds us that independence is not only an official historical achievement, but also a constant responsibility.

FTTU wishes a happy holiday to all Bulgarians! Long live free and independent Bulgaria!
