We celebrate 117 years of independent Bulgaria!
Sep 22, 2025

On September 22, 1908, in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria declares its Independence - one of the greatest achievements in our history.
In the church of "St. Forty Martyrs" Prince Ferdinand proclaims Bulgaria a sovereign and equal state, and our people take their rightful place among the free nations of Europe.
Today, 117 years later, this day reminds us that independence is not only a historical conquest but also a constant responsibility.
FTTU wishes all Bulgarians a happy holiday! Long live free and independent Bulgaria!
