Happy 3rd of March!

On this day, a preliminary peace treaty was signed, which went down in history as the Treaty of San Stefano, marking the symbolic Liberation of Bulgaria after the Russo-Turkish War of 1877 – 1878.

Today, we honor the bravery and sacrifice of all the heroes who fought for the freedom of our Motherland.

Liberation is a symbol of the unity, will, and strength of the Bulgarian people.

The Federation of Transport and Trade Unions expresses its gratitude to the heroes who gave their lives in the battles on Shipka Peak and believes that only together, through hard work and solidarity, can we build a free and just future.

Let us remember that freedom is our most precious heritage!
