Happy March 3rd!

On this day, a preliminary peace treaty was signed, which went down in history as the Treaty of San Stefano for the termination of the Russo-Turkish War of 1877 – 1878, which symbolically marked the Liberation of Bulgaria.

Today we honor the courage and self-sacrifice of all the heroes who fought for the freedom of our Motherland.

The Liberation is a symbol of the unity, will, and strength of the Bulgarian people.

Federation of Transport Trade Unions expresses its gratitude to the heroes who gave their lives in the battles on Shipka Peak and believes that only together, with labor and solidarity, can we build a free and just future.

Let us remember that freedom is our most precious heritage!
