Today is May 24th – the day on which we bow before the power of the word, knowledge, and spirit. The day on which we celebrate the deed of the Holy Brothers Cyril and Methodius, the Bulgarian alphabet, education, and culture – that which makes us a people with a memory, a face, and a path forward.

On this bright holiday, the Federation of Transport Trade Unions (FTTU) expresses its deep gratitude to all educators – teachers, scientists, cultural figures, and everyone who preserves and develops Bulgaria's spiritual wealth.

Even though our mission is in movement – on roads, in the air, and on water – we know that without education there is no direction, without knowledge there is no development, without culture there is no future.

Today, let us wish for the Bulgarian alphabet and culture to continue to guide us. Let the word unite us, and let our spirit remain free, brave, and driven.
