At the invitation of the regional coordinator of Burgas, Maya Sarieva, the chairman of FTTU, Eng. Aleksandar Shopov, together with the deputy chairman of FTTU, Vladimir Tsvetanov, participated in an expanded meeting of the Regional Council of CITUB in the village of Ravda.

The Chairman of FTTU had the opportunity to share the experience of the Federation of Transport Trade Unions (FTTU) and the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria (CITUB) in drafting, negotiating, and defending cooperation agreements with the mayors of various municipalities, including Sofia Municipality, Varna Municipality, and others. Specific mechanisms for improving working conditions and social protection were discussed.

"The meeting was extremely useful for exchanging ideas and good practices that can serve as a basis for further strengthening the social dialogue and cooperation between trade unions and local authorities in the regions," commented Eng. Shopov.
