Starting tomorrow, September 17, employees at the airports in Burgas and Varna will begin a symbolic protest. Their discontent will be expressed by wearing protest badges and ribbons.

Over 80% of FRAPORT employees have signed a petition in support of their fair demands:

Higher basic salaries; Equalization of remuneration for the same position (the differences reach up to BGN 200); Better organized schedules; Seasonal bonuses for all workers.

"We hope that a meeting with the management of Fraport will take place as early as this week in order to continue our talks and find a way to satisfy the workers' demands," emphasized eng. Aleksandar Shopov, the chairman of the Federation of Transport Trade Unions, in a statement to BTA.
