Alexander Shopov - Workers from Varna Airport will protest for higher wages

From tomorrow, September 17, employees at the airports in Burgas and Varna will begin a symbolic protest. The discontent will be expressed by wearing protest badges and armbands.

More than 80% of FRAPORT employees have collected a petition in support of their just demands:

Higher basic salaries; Equalization of pay for the same position (differences reach up to 200 BGN); Better organized schedules; Seasonal bonus for all workers.

“We hope to hold a meeting with the management of Fraport within this week so that we can continue the talks and find a solution where the demands of the workers are satisfied,” emphasized to BTA, the chairman of the Federation of Transport and Trade Unions - Eng. Alexander Shopov.
